KING OF WAR, Race 4, 3rd
He ran a nice race first-up, Michael (Rodd, jockey) gave him a nice ride. He relaxed well and travelled nicely, and at the top of the straight he did look to be the winner! Unfortunately he didn't let down a well as we'd like, Michael said the track was very firm and perhaps he didn't like the surface. He'll definitely improve and we might try the polytrack surface instead where it won't be as firm. Overall he ran well and he should be winning races soon!

MR HANKS, Race 6, 1st
Obviously really pleased with his run; the good barrier helped him get into a nice position behind leaders and he travelled well throughout. When Vlad (Duric, jockey) got him into some clear galloping room he let down nicely and found the line well. His race experience from New Zealand definitely helped, and he looks to be a smart horse for the future. We'll now get him ready for the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe Group 2 race in July.

SIAM SAPPHIRE, Race 10, 3rd
James was pleased with his first-up run from the break. Unfortunately he was checked out the gates and moved back in the field. If he was in more forward position he might have won the race - he found the line nicely and he's definitely back to where he was. Barend (Vorster, jockey) said he felt really good and had a nice action. There's a similar race on the polytrack at the end of June that we'll aim for.
