TASSAJARA, Race 1, 3rd
He had a nice run just behind the main speed on Friday and he managed to relax well. He looked like the winner at the top of the straight, but unfortunately he tired out over the last 100m. He's a much better horse on the turf and we're considering a race in mid to late May back on the grass.

LIVELY DRAGON, Race 2, 2nd
James was pleased with his run on Friday, he jumped well from gates and led, with Manoel (Nunes, jockey) dictating the pace well. He tried hard up the straight but just got beaten by a younger, improving horse with a claimer on board. It was still a good run and hopefully he'll be able to pick up a win pretty soon.

JULIUS CAESAR, Race 2, 1st
A fantastic run yesterday - he put in a solid effort, carrying 57kg. James doesn't think the polytrack 1200m is even his thing, both James and Vlad (Duric, jockey) reckon that he would be better on the turf over more ground. Vlad said he ran the 1200m easily, and it was a very quick time - half a second faster than the Class 4 races yesterday, and it matched the times set by the runners in the Open Benchmark 83 class, which is promising. He's pulled up fine with no issues and we're looking at a Novice race on the turf over 1200m sometime mid-May.
