DESTROYER ECLIPSE
Race 2: Restricted Maiden - 1100m

Horse no: 5
Time: 7.20 PM
Jockey: C GRYLLS (57 kg)

Alamosa (NZ) x Shezabeel (NZ) 3yo gelding. He's in good condition going into his first start on Friday and has come through last week's trial well. He's drawn a nice insider barrier in 1. There are a couple of horses in the race who have trialed well but if he begins nicely he should run well. The 1100m might be a little too sharp for him but he's shown nice ability and we're hopeful of a nice run.

GRAND CANYON
Race 4: Maiden - 1400m

Horse no: 4
Time: 8.20 PM
Jockey: O PLACAIS (58 kg)

Ad Valorem (USA) x Shashzaya (IRE) 4yo gelding. He's in good form going into his first start in Singapore. On paper there are a few horses with good speed, but he's drawn nicely in barrier 4 and if he begins well he should run a nice race.

Sunday 08 October 2017

FLASH
Race 2: Restricted Maiden - 1400m
Horse no: 2
Time: 1.40 PM
Jockey: M NUNES (57
kg)

Hellvelyn (GB) x Justbetweenfriends (USA) 3yo gelding. He's come through last week's trial well and is bright and fresh around the stable. He's drawn well in barrier 1 and should get up into a nice position. On paper there are a few nice horses, but if he can improve on his first-up run he should be right in the finish.

BIRAZ
Race 3: Class 4 - 1100m
Horse no: 1
Time: 2.10 PM
Jockey: O CHAVEZ (57.5 kg)

Per Incanto (USA) x Tap 'N' Gap (NZ) 5yo gelding. He's shown decent ability on his first two starts and is back down into Class 4, which should help. He's drawn a tricky barrier in barrier 11 but with a bit of luck, he should run a good race.

SKYWALK
Race 10: Class 3 - 1200m
Horse no: 5
Time: 5.55 PM
Jockey: M NUNES (54.5 kg)

Battle Paint (USA) x Daystar (NZ) 4yo gelding. He's in good form and trialed well last week. He's drawn well in barrier 4 for Sunday's race and should get into a nice position. There will be improvement to come from him fitness-wise as he's just coming back after a long break but we're hopeful he'll run a good race.
