SIAM GEMSTONE: Race 2, 2nd
James was pleased with his run on Friday, it was a good effort and Vlad Duric gave him a nice ride. We feel he's going to be more of a 1400m or 1600m horse and the 1200m is just a little too sharp for him. He did his best work late in the run and that was good to see. He's pulled up fine and is looking happy and comfortable around the stable. We're looking to run him over 1200m for his next race.
SKYWALK: Race 8, 1st
Great run by Skywalk - it takes a good 3-year-old to win against older, more experienced horses at a Class 3 level. What made his win even better was after what happened at the 200m mark, when his rider lost his balance and unbalanced the horse at a crucial stage of the race. He did a really good job to pick himself back up, change legs and find the line again. He's pulled up fine post-race, he's fresh and well and happy with himself. We're looking at starting him over 1400m for his next race sometime in mid-February.

THE GOLDEN GOAT: Race 6, 3rd
An improved run by The Golden Goat from his last start. James was very pleased with the way he ran. He was a bit keen for the first half of the race and needs to learn to relax a bit more, but he finished off strongly and we hope he'll win a race soon. He's recovered well and is nice and bright around the stable. He could have a bright future in Singapore and we're looking forward to getting him up over more ground once he learns to settle.
NOBLE LIAISON: Race 10, 2nd
Really pleased with his run. As James expected, the distance was a bit sharp for him but was happy with the way he found the line. He's well in himself and enjoyed a good roll post-race. We will definitely be stepping him up in distance next time and we're anticipating getting him up to 1400m and 1600m later in the preparation. He's a horse we're really looking forward to this season!
